Your projects, contacts and files are encrypted on your device before they’re saved, so they aren’t readable on our servers. Nobody but you can open your work, not even us. That’s also why we can’t reset your password: your recovery key is the way back in, so keep it somewhere safe. When you share a project, it’s encrypted on your device for the one person you invite, and you choose exactly what they see. Shared docs travel as files they can open and download, as a separate encrypted copy.
Yes, on Producer. Share a project with someone’s Stela account and choose Can view or Can edit for each person, and switch it any time. Editors change the tabs you share; their changes come into your project when Stela is open on your device, with a restore point and Undo. Everything stays end-to-end encrypted.
Yes. Each project has a casting wishlist: paste your list or import it from a PDF, Word, CSV or text file (a Google Doc downloaded as PDF or Word works well), check it, then export a polished casting-inspiration PDF with every role and your packages. The file is read on your device and the list is stored encrypted with your project.
Yes, on Producer and Studio. Pick your pitch deck or cover art from a project’s Docs and Stela reads its colors and fonts on your device, so your project package, casting wishlist and other exports look like one piece with your deck. Free exports keep the Stela look.
No. Stela makes their job easier. Your line producer keeps building the budget; Stela stores it and tracks spending against it.
You keep your data. You can export everything anytime: every project, contact and file, plus a PDF of each project.
No. Free is free, with 2 projects. Paid plans aren’t open yet, so nothing is charged.
